Songs from Coope Boyes and Simpson featured in the soundtrack of an hour long documentary, The Underground War,  shown on Channel 4 on Wednesday 11 November 1998.  Made by Parapet Productions, the film was the first to cover the role of tunnellers in the Great War and included a number of songs written and sung by Coope Boyes and Simpson for Peace Concerts Passendale and recorded on We’re Here Because We’re Here (NMCD8) and Passchendaele Suite (NMCD10).
